Indulge and Embrace the Ambiance of What I Think is Hilarious!

Apparently, Rapper Drake Started From the Bottom, Now He’s Here….?

Wha g’won! Lol. Are you ready for the ratchetness of the day?  I know I am.

Now unless you’ve been living under a rock, then you probably already know that Hip-Hop Rapper Drake recently released a song called “Started From the Bottom“.

His ever so catchy lyric “Started from the Bottom, Now, We’re Here” has taken over Youtube, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Random people are now posting picture collages of throwback pictures of themselves saying, “Started from the Bottom” and within the same collage they are posting current pictures of themselves saying, “Now, I’m Here!”

Thank you Drizzy Drake for starting this ratchet “Started from the Bottom, Now We’re here!” movement. Drizzy Drake…how about you Drizzle yourself on down into a wheelchair, like you happily did on the show Degrassi,  and Rolie Polie Olie yourself on into a corner. You are definitely on time-out for this one.

The concept of the song itself is not bad. Starting from the bottom and making it to the top is a great concept for someone to rap about. It’s even greater, if the person actually started from the bottom.

Who doesn’t love a rag to riches story? I know I do.

Unfortunately, in Drizzy Drake’s case, he didn’t exactly start from the bottom, as he so proudly professes.  He started somewhere in the middle lol. In the song, Drake claims that he has most certainly without a shadow of a doubt started from the bottom and worked his way up to the top. He talks about being raised by his mom in Canada. He and his mom would fight a lot and he would work late nights at a Pharmacy Store. That’s it. That’s the whole song. Oh and he repeats “started from the bottom, now, we’re here” about 41 times lol.

Drizzy Drake  didn’t start from the bottom.  Apparently,  Drizzy Drake  attended a very  prestigious Performing Arts high school in Canada. He met a friend, whose father happen to be an Agent in the industry and got Drake a gig on a TV show.

Side bar: For those of you who don’t know, Drizzy Drake started his career in the industry on the Canadian TV series called Degrassi: The Next Generation, where he played a wheelchair-bond high-school basketball player who got shot by a classmate. After Drake’s stint on Degrassi, then  he somehow  got in contact with Lil Wayne and his Young Money crew and well the rest is history.

Now, I am not knocking anyone’s grind, hustle, plight and or struggle, but listening to the song and watching the ratchet video that accompanies the song…well, I must say I was too through. This video made me literally laugh out loud.

The video starts out with a young  Drizzy Drake playing soccer and making the winning goal. Then the ratchetness begins. Drake proceeds to fast-forward to present day, where he is dressed in all-white-everything, hopping around a moving white car, looking like a Mystery-colored Pop Rock. Then later in the video, he has his Canadian crew hopping around along with him. They are waving their Canadian flags in the air and wearing them like dew-rags, shouting all throughout the video, “Started from the bottom, now we’re here!”

I can’t anymore lol. Just watch the video lol.

All I can say after that buffoonery is that Drake is totally #Winning in the Rap Game and now,

P.S. These Olivia/Raven Simone Instagram pics always have me rolling lol.
